Demac Hire completed the construction of an earthen wall dam in a challenging terrain on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Situated in a remote area with steep slopes and unstable soil conditions, this project required advanced engineering expertise, meticulous planning, and specialized equipment. Despite the complexities, Demac Hire successfully delivered a robust and functional dam that now serves as a critical water resource for agricultural and irrigation purposes in the region.

The project involved extensive site preparation, including clearing vegetation, stabilizing the foundation, and carefully compacting layers of soil to ensure the structural integrity of a clay core earthen wall to seal the wall.
